Department of Computer Science and Telecommunication Engineering in one of the four founding departments of Noakhali Science and Technology University. The department currently offers Bachelor of Science (Engineering) in CSTE and Masters of Science (Engineering) in Telecommunication Engineering. The department is different than other traditional Computer Science departments in the way that, courses of Communication Technology is equally emphasized along with courses of Computer Science in the curriculum. The department has highly qualified faculty members and is equipped with state of the art Computer, Electronics and Communication Labs.

Department of Information and Communication Engineering

The Department of Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) at Noakhali University of Science and Technology is always creating new opportunities for students and faculty in various emerging fields. The department provides an outstanding facility to students to get quality education in information and Communication Engineering. It started its academic activities from 2012. Since then, it has been widely recognized for its excellent research and teaching capabilities. The Department of ICE energized by a group of committed teachers. We are giving special emphasis to uplift the quality of our students with respect to their knowledge building capacity having well balanced moral values of life. We all know that, today, ICE can play the most important role in the development of developing countries. The department has ambitious plans to become a role model in Bangladesh and in the region. It possesses the basic ingredients for achieving this goal in terms of the qualifications of its department members and staff, and in terms of its IT infrastructure. Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE)

he opening of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) Department at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) is a response to the current societal demand. To meet this demand, the University Grants Commission (UGC) approved the establishment of the EEE Department at NSTU on October 1, 2015. The department began its academic activities with 33 students in the B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering program for the 2016-2017 session starting in January 2017, and subsequently started the Master’s program in July 2023. The aim of the department is to create technology leaders in EEE who will have the necessary skills and attitudes to be responsible and thoughtful contributors to society. At present, the department has resources and lab facilities for Electrical Circuits, Analog & Digital Electronics, Electrical Machines, Power Systems, Power Electronics, and Telecommunication Engineering. The course curricula of the department are constantly updated and focused on the latest trends in EEE technologies. The courses are conducted by highly qualified and experienced faculty members who are actively engaged in research activities in various fields of Engineering, Science, and Technology. The faculty members educate and train the students with sound knowledge and awareness of the latest trends in their respective fields.
