Md. Abid Hasan
Md. Abid Hasan, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oceanography, holds a BS and MS in Oceanography from the University of Dhaka. His research focuses on remote sensing, satellite oceanography, marine pollution, water quality, climate change, and public health. He has published in several international journals and led multiple research projects funded by the NSTU and the Ministry of Science and Technology. He aims to pursue a PhD from a reputable university and contribute meaningfully to oceanographic research and education.

BIOGRAPHY
Md. Abid Hasan, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oceanography, earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Oceanography from the University of Dhaka. His research interests span a range of interdisciplinary fields, including remote sensing, satellite oceanography, marine pollution, water quality assessment, climate variability and change, sea level rise, and the intersection of climate and public health. He has published several peer-reviewed articles in internationally recognized journals and has been awarded multiple research projects funded by NSTU and the Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. He aspires to pursue a PhD from a reputable international university and continue his journey as an educator and researcher, offering meaningful contributions to the continuously advancing field of oceanography.
