Mission

The mission of the Department of Oceanography at Noakhali Science and Technology University is to promote and create a cutting-edge learning environment for higher maritime education with excellence, utilizing advanced equipment and knowledgeable faculty and staff to expand the frontier of research-based knowledge in response to rising domestic and international concerns, and to prepare students to compete effectively in the maritime business, service, and employment sectors by providing quality education that meets international standards and supports new horizons in various fields of oceanography.
