BIOGRAPHY
Nasrin Akter Bristy is a Lecturer in the Department of Zoology at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU), Bangladesh. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Zoology and a Master's degree in Wildlife Biology from the Dhaka University. Her teaching and research interests include wildlife ecology, zoonotic disease, habitat ecology, biodiversity conservation, coastal ecosystems, and wildlife–human interactions. Her current research focuses on coastal wildlife conservation in Bangladesh, particularly fisheries bycatch, turtle conservation, waterbird ecology, and biodiversity assessment. She is committed to advancing evidence-based conservation through field research and interdisciplinary approaches. As an educator and researcher, Nasrin is passionate about inspiring students, promoting environmental awareness, and contributing to sustainable biodiversity conservation.
