BIOGRAPHY
Currently working as an assistant professor in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Noakhali Science and Technology University, Bangladesh, Tanvir Ahmed specializes in tourism consumer behavior, destination image, and digital influences on travel decision-making. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of Dhaka, along with a second Master’s degree in Service Management with a specialization in Tourism from Lund University, Sweden. His research interests include user-generated content, electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM), sustainable tourism, and the integration of artificial intelligence in tourism services. He teaches courses on marketing, crisis management, and research methodology, incorporating practical insights to enhance student learning. His scholarly work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to the academic discourse on tourism and hospitality management.
