BIOGRAPHY
I am Jahanara Akhter Lipi, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fisheries and Marine Science at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU), Bangladesh. I hold an M.Sc. in Aquaculture from NSTU and have over 3.5 years of experience in teaching, research, and consultancy. I teach a range of undergraduate courses, including Introduction to Fisheries Resources, Limnology, Inland Fisheries Management, Fisheries Extension, Fish Population Dynamics and Stock Assessment, Biological and Chemical Oceanography, and Marine and Estuarine Ecology. My research focuses on aquatic toxicology, particularly microplastic and heavy metal pollution, aquaculture, and microbiological contamination of fish. I have published four peer-reviewed research articles and successfully completed five research projects as a Principal Investigator and Associate Investigator, funded by the NSTU Research Cell and the Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh.
