SHUVAGATO MONDAL
Shuvagato Mondal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fisheries and Marine Science at Noakhali Science and Technology University, Bangladesh. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the Australian National University, where his research examines the double burden of household food insecurity and inadequate access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) facilities, and their impacts on the health of vulnerable coastal communities in Bangladesh. He has been recognized with several prestigious academic distinctions, including the Chancellor’s Gold Medal, the Vice-Chancellor’s Gold Medal, and the Prime Minister’s Gold Medal, for his outstanding academic achievements. His research has led to multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at international conferences, reflecting his strong commitment to advancing scientific understanding and fostering collaboration in the fields of public health, food security, and environmental sustainability.

BIOGRAPHY
Shuvagato Mondal is an assistant professor in the Department of Fisheries and Marine Science, Noakhali Science and Technology University, Bangladesh. Throughout his academic journey, he has been honoured with several prestigious distinctions, including the Chancellor’s Gold Medal, the Vice-Chancellor’s Gold Medal, and the Prime Minister’s Gold Medal, in recognition of his outstanding academic excellence. He has also co-led multiple funded research projects, demonstrating his strong commitment to advancing knowledge and innovation in his field. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the Australian National University in Australia and his research focused on double burden of household food insecurity and inadequate WASH facilities associated with health risks among vulnerable coastal communities of bangladesh. His doctoral work has made significant contributions to the scientific community through multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals. He has also actively disseminated his research findings at national and international conferences and seminars, fostering scholarly engagement and collaboration within the global academic community.
