BIOGRAPHY
I have been serving as a faculty member in the Department of Fisheries and Marine Science, Noakhali Science and Technology University since July, 2009. I have awarded MEXT Scholarship (selected by the Embassy of Japan, Bangladesh) and completed my Doctoral course from the Graduate School of Bioresources, Mie University, Japan where I worked on the immune response of Nile tilapia cultured in recirculatory aquaculture system (RAS) involving controlled aeration and temperature. My research interest centers on promoting sustainable fisheries production through eco-friendly practices, with a specific focus on conservation of endangered species, habitat preservation, and the well-being of fishing communities. By combining scientific rigor with local knowledge, I aim to develop practical solutions that benefit all stakeholders involved in open water fish production while safeguarding the long-term health and resilience of aquatic ecosystems.
