Dr. Mohammad Anwar Ul Alam is a dedicated food engineer and researcher specializing in sustainable and innovative food processing technologies. He is currently a Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University's Department of Food Science, focusing on AI-enabled food processing and fluid dynamic modeling for environmentally sustainable products. Holding a Ph.D. in Food Science from Alabama A&M University, Dr. Anwar has over 12 years of experience in food product development, food safety, and nutrition science. He has a strong publication record, holds patents on novel food drying technologies, and has secured competitive research funding. Dr. Anwar also brings extensive expertise in food manufacturing and quality assurance, and is committed to mentoring future scientists and advancing food technology education globally.

BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Mohammad Anwar Ul Alam is an accomplished food engineer and researcher specializing in innovative and sustainable food processing technologies. Currently a Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University’s Department of Food Science, he focuses on developing novel food processing techniques empowered by artificial intelligence and fluid dynamic modeling to create environmentally sustainable food products and pharmaceuticals for improved human health. Dr. Anwar holds a Ph.D. in Food Science from Alabama A&M University, where he graduated with a perfect CGPA of 4.0. He also earned his M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Over more than 12 years, he has contributed extensively to food product development, food safety, and nutrition sciences, holding academic positions including Assistant Professor and Program Chair at Noakhali Science and Technology University in Bangladesh. His research portfolio includes cutting-edge work on flash freezing using supercritical fluids, encapsulation of bioactive compounds, and techno-economic feasibility of novel food products. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals and holds patents related to flash-freeze spray-drying processes. Dr. Anwar has secured significant competitive research grants from USDA and other agencies. In addition to his academic excellence, he has professional experience in food manufacturing and quality assurance and has trained entrepreneurs and industry professionals in Bangladesh. Dr. Anwar's technical expertise encompasses advanced analytical tools, computational modeling, and biotechnological innovations aimed at enhancing food quality and safety. He is also recognized for his mentorship of graduate students and commitment to developing curricula and research programs that bridge science and applied nutrition, contributing significantly to food technology education and research in Bangladesh and internationally.
